Srashtaa Saanjh America, a DFW based not-for-profit organization is organizing a virtual (Zoom) multilingual (Nepali, Urdu, Hindi and English) poetic symposium on Saturday, January 9, 2021 with the participation of distinguished poets from America, Nepal, India and Pakistan.

Srashtaa Saanjh America (An evening with literary art personalities) is promoting and organizing literary activities since 2017.

Mr. Ehteram Islam from Allahabad, India will be the chief guest. Even though, he writes both in Hindi and Urdu, he is more acclaimed for his hindi gazals. He has published several books and has been recognized by many prestigious organizations including “Award for Excellence -2019” by Allahabad University, India.

Another distinguished poet is Parag Agrawal. Parag Agrawal hails from a family of Doctors, Architects & Lawyers. Getting encouragement by one of his peers, Parag started learning Urdu and technicalities of poetry with a keen interest while perceiving his career in architecture.

In 2016, Parag started publishing books through his proprietorship firm ‘AnyBook’. While working in this industry, he discovered a huge gap between authors & readers and as a bridge for this gap in marketing and promotions he established ‘Bookscape’.

Another distinguished guest is Mr. Saurabh Pandey from Bhopal, India, who has published several books. He has been recognized by many institutions including “Sahitya Shiromani Samman” by Indian Literary Association.

Another distinguished guest is Mr. Gyanu Walker Poudel, who is the pioneer of Gazal movement in Nepal. He has written several books.

Another distinguished guest is Mr Harris Khalique, a awarded Pakistani poet and essayist in English and Urdu, anthologized internationally and translated into several languages. Currently, he also serves as the General Secretary of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan.

Besides, there will be several other literary figures attending the program and reciting poems and gazals in Nepali, Hindi and Urdu. Mr.
Dhirendra Premashi (Nepal) and Mr. Dinesh Sharma (USA) will be facilitators of the program. Mr. Dhirendra runs “Hello Mithila” program in TV and Mr Dinesh is the President of Nepalese Society of Dallas. The program will be Facebook live.
